Eastham, which
opens in 1931, and LITTLE
SUTTON (1933) are satellite branches to ELLESMERE
PORT – with one
manager in overall control of all three branches, and Clerks in Charge posted
in the two villages to handle the day to day work. These branches are joined in 1963 by a new
outlet at BROMBOROUGH. At this point business is brisk enough for
each of the sub branches to open for a full banking week, including Saturday
morning. Martins Bank’s presence in this area is certainly comprehensive.
