A Sub Branch at
Milton Regis is opened in 1966.
Sittingbourne is already established as one of the oldest of the
Kentish branches – originally a branch of Messrs Vallance and Payne, and then
later Martin’s Private Bank. As Milton
Regis begins to feel the effects of urban sprawl, it becomes less of a
village and more of a suburb of Sittingbourne – a good place then to add a Sub
Branch with hours that suit both shoppers and local traders – Monday to
Friday, 10am to 2pm. |
