   We believe the parent Branch
to have been Longsight branch. Slade Lane is one of a number of smaller
Branches to have been mothballed for the duration of the second wold war, but
which were then not re-opened.  We have
also assumed full banking hours across a six day working week for slade Lane,
but we will continue digging for more information about this branch.  If you can help with images or information
about this or any of Martins Bank’s 930+ branches, please do get in touch
with us at the usual address – martinsbankarchive@btinternet.com.
